HEARTS in CRAFTS

creativity | connection | community

Building diverse foundations of care.

One creative adventure at a time

Dr Nemat Alsaba, Dr Rhea Liang, Dr Shahina Braganza & Jen Lean RN are building a collaborative community of creation & care among health care providers by launching HEARTS IN CRAFTS.

What’s it all about?

HEARTS IN CRAFTS was born out of a collective love of providing patient centred care, cultivating diverse and vibrant community, and creating innovate ways to put out hearts into crafts.

The vision is to have the ‘helper humans” come together to share resources, share experiences, and share space, sip on tea…all while we create tools to support some of our most vulnerable members among us.

OUR PROJECT: Create IV cannula sleeves for our older patients with dementia presenting to ED.

We invite you to gather with us!

WHEN: Last Tuesday of the Month (unless otherwise communicated)

WHERE: Bond University Clinical research and Education Centre (BUCERC) Level 1, H Building, Robina Hospital

WHO: Anyone who cares about other humans.

Ideas

Ideas are the spark of fire that warms us all.

Please share all your ideas when you gather with us. It takes a group of people a lot less time to do a thing, than one person alone.

We love ideas and we love sharing them!
